Things To Do

Summerland’s main street, Lillie Avenue, is lined with charming restaurants, B&B’s, antique shops, and unique businesses like The Sacred Space and the Santa Barbara Bird Sanctuary. The elementary school and library are both in town, and Summerland Beach, renowned for its breathtaking beauty, white sandy beaches, and gentle surf, is easily accessible from Lookout Park. Lookout Park Beach, also called Summerland Beach, offers a cliffside view of the sand and water below, along with a playground and picnic tables. Nearby Santa Claus Lane is a popular surf spot and features fun shops and cafes. There is also world-class polo nearby at the Santa Barbara Polo & Raquet Club.
